theres a classic, geeky little spiel by jeff goldblum in jurassic park when he talks about "life finding a way" despite the odds. i always think of this whenever i walk to EICAR and pass by this tree stump, cut by the french. within the first 3 months of my stay here i saw new branches grow and grow from this stump, and earlier this year i found they had been cut down again. its spring now, and its growing new branches and leaves again.
i guess what im trying to say is dr. malcolm was on to something in that cinematic gem. life finds a way, dinosaurs will terrorize us, alan grant will save us all and kick a pterodactyl in the fucking head.
